Spring Bloom · a solo show

Odette Marrow

Flowers you can eat and flowers made of paper. Nine pieces from this year, hung the way I would hang them at home.

Gardens that don't last

I decorate cookies and tear paper because both are short-lived. The cookie is eaten by Sunday. The paper dahlia sits on a shelf for years. I like making both with the same care.

I work at a kitchen table in a converted garage, and nearly everything starts with a flower I picked on a walk.
